The Conversation Partners Program is an enriching language experience for non-native speaking international students preparing to be TAs, and a rewarding and educational one for American partners. It provides a unique opportunity for forming international friendships and increasing cross-cultural understanding.
Please see our brochure for more information. If you would like to sign up fill out our online form and someone will contact you.
The Conversation Partners Program matches a student to a university member for one on one communication. It's a great way to learn other cultures and help an international student improve his/her communication skills.
We often need people to act as students in our mock teaching sessions. Being a questionner allows you to let our prospective teachers know what you expect in a classroom.
The Undergraduate Panel is a chance for our students to ask you questions about university life so that they can learn what it is like to be an Ohio State student.

OSU undergraduates are invited to attend ITA practice teachings to simulate typical student questions and to provide evaluative feedback to the ITAs-in-training. Anyone interested in being a questioner in one of the 105 sections should contact 292-0708 or sep-cpp@osu.edu
For an idea of possible question, here are some sample questions.
Undergraduate Panel
A panel of undergraduates is invited to attend one of our EDU T&L 105 classes to help the international graduate students better understand the American students they will be teaching. ITAs have the opportunity to ask the panel about their interests, expectations, and attitudes about their studies, their teaching assistants and their life on campus.
If you are interested in being a member of the panel, contact us at 292-0708 or sep-cpp@osu.edu.
